The multiband mix knob. Deeper control for all of your effects.

FreqBlender is a multiband dry/wet mix control. Easily adjust the amount of compression, distortion, or any other effect to your exacting standard in dedicated low, mid, and high bands. Go even further with per-band mid/side controls. All with minimal dynamic phase shift, no latency, and low CPU impact.
FreqBlender extends the concept of the dry/wet mix knob in ways you didn’t know you needed. Subtle yet powerful adjustments to dynamics & tone that were previously difficult to achieve can now be dialed in quickly and easily, using processors you already have.

Features

Level Matching
Both automatic and manual level matching workflows are supported. Manual level matching is assisted by input signal level indicators using short term LUFS.
Automatic level matching can be performed with a single click, or engaged via a special “latching mode” which allows continuous loudness matching between the wet & dry signals. Using this mode, parallel effects can be freely manipulated in creative and expressive ways while the plugin ensures consistent signal level.

Zero Latency, Minimum Phase Shelving Filters
Unlike with band-splitting crossover designs, where phase shift is always maximal, FreqBlender uses minimum phase shelving filters that provide phase shift proportional to processing.
- Per-band mid/side controls shift processing in the stereo image.
- When the Gentle switch is engaged, 1st order (6 dB/octave) filters are used instead of the default 2nd order (12 dB/octave) filters.
Other Features
- Unique signal routing scheme via sidechain input for maximum compatibility with DAWs & 3rd party plugins. Either wet or dry signal can be routed via sidechain input. *
- All parameters fully automatable with click-free performance.
- Bypass switch routes dry signal only to the plugin output.
* AAX format routing differs since sidechains are mono in Pro Tools. See the manual for details.
What Our Users Are Saying
“Congratulations on creating such a useful plugin, it’s a real gem and slots seamlessly into my workflow. Once you start using it you wonder how you got by without it.”
“Thank you for releasing Freqblender, it’s such a nice plugin to work with. I was impressed that, in dodging the conventional multiband approach, it solves the problem of providing critical control over the processed signal in a pretty clever way, and takes the wet knob concept to the next level by expanding its manipulation capability to other plugins. And shoutout to Ariana — the layout is a stylish one, really neat by design.”
“I demoed it last night and bought it straight away! I have set up similar multiband routings with Blue Cat PatchWork, but this is so much more elegant! In fact Freqblender also works great inside PatchWork, and is an awesome way to save FX chains as a Cubase user. I also like how easy it is to level match with FreqBlender, you can really dial it in… way less hassle than it is with other tools. And it works on Mac Mojave too! Thanks for developing such a great plugin!”

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I buy FreqBlender or SendBlender Pro?
These plugins cover some of the same ground but also have unique strengths. FreqBlender is more streamlined and better tuned for broad strokes tone & dynamics shaping. SendBlender Pro has more filter types and enables surgical adjustments. It is best to try both and see what suits you! FreqBlender will probably be more approachable for most people, so if in doubt you may want to start there.
What is your refund policy?
It is always best to do a free trial before buying, but if for any reason you are unhappy with your plugin, we will gladly issue a refund within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us to request a refund.
