Changes printed in this document apply to both the Standard and Pro editions of the SendBlender plugin, except where noted. Please refer to the SendBlender Manual for detailed explanations of features.
Version 1.2.0
March 17, 2026
NOTE: The system requirements for Windows machines have changed. AVX2 support is now required (e.g. Intel Haswell, AMD Ryzen, or newer) . Generally this should include any machine from the last 10 years.
New Features
- A Pro Tools AAX format plugin is now provided.
- A settings menu has been added with several functions including license management.
- Mouse scroll wheel input is now supported for all controls (can be disabled via the settings menu).
- The plugin editor user interface is now scalable (configured via the settings menu).
- Level matching functionality is improved with clearer visual feedback and configurable maximum peak amplitude (in the settings menu).
Fixes & Improvements
- Addressed poor performance in level matching system. This would be noticeable when the level matching system is active, which occurs when either the plugin editor window is open, or when the latching mode is engaged. Smaller buffer sizes would have been more severely impacted than larger buffer sizes. Rigorous performance testing has been implemented to prevent such issues in future releases.
- [Pro only] Switching a band filter mode in the EQ section is now click-free.
Version 1.1.2
October 23, 2025
Fixes & Improvements
- [Pro only] When using an EQ band with the gain control enabled (i.e. shelf or peak filter), reopening a session with non-zero gain set for a band would appear to recall the EQ curve correctly, but the gain control was not internally initialized properly, and the processed audio is as if the gain was set to zero. The correct gain value is saved in the session, and there is no need to re-save sessions.
Version 1.1.1
October 13, 2025
Fixes & Improvements
- [Standard only] When Level Match is latched on, this setting is not saved with the session for later recall. This issue does not affect the Pro version of the plugin. Any session for which you intended Level Match to remain on will need to be opened, corrected, and re-saved after applying the update.
- [Pro only] When using EQ Auto Make Up (which is only effective with at least one EQ band enabled and Dry Boost set less than 100%), the make up gain is not reliably determined. This issue does not affect how settings are saved with sessions, but a SendBlender Pro instance may have an incorrect EQ Auto Make Up gain intermittently, including on session recall. There is no need to re-save sessions. The plugin instance will recall and function correctly after installing the update.
- Other minor fixes and improvements.
Version 1.1.0
October 6, 2025
New Features
- Wet Trim control. This can be used to adjust the wet signal level before any other processing is applied. This control is automatable except when level matching is latched on.
- Input level monitoring. The dry & wet input signal level is measured in short term LUFS and displayed via indicators in the plugin UI.
- Level matching. The Match button can be used to set the Wet Trim level automatically based on the input signal levels. A special “latching mode” is provided to continuously match signal levels.
Fixes & Improvements
- Improved consistency with parameter automation processing. We found that previous versions were handling automation in a way that might vary slightly on each playback. The amount of variation could depend on CPU load. This has been fixed.
- Fixed possible crashes & instability when processing parameter changes (via automation or the plugin UI). No reports of actual crashes have been received.
Notes
- The changes to automation processing are important for improving plugin stability and ensuring consistent audio output. We believe impacts on existing sessions are minimal, but please reach out if you notice unexpected changes.
